With only 12 players available for selection Salvesen took the lead after 3 minutes when a great through ball found Finn one on one with the goalkeeper Finn with his first touch sent the ball into the bottom right hand corner. The visitors got back on level terms 4 minutes later with a high shot into the right hand corner. Both teams traded half chances but it was Berwick who had the best chance before half time.

Salvesen took the lead after 63 minutes when the impressive Finn found himself through on the goalkeeper and he dispatched his shot into the left corner of the net. Salvesen then went for a third and a few close calls with balls in from the right just missing the finishing touch from on rushing players.
With 5 minutes left Berwick got the equaliser with a quick counter attack with a low cross from the left which was
Slotted in at the back post.
With 80 minutes on the clock Salvesen got the winner with great play from Jay who side stepped the Berwick striker the ball moving through the midfield and passed the ball to Harry to then pass the ball down the left to Finn who drove and beat the right back and crossed a low ball over the six yard box. Trialist Ryhs got in between the keeper and defender to cause problems and ball went in the net via a own goal.
